Besselink & Jones manufacture a vast selection of specialist electrical fittings for use in Europe, UK and the US. Besselink also offer a fully bespoke service; hand built lights can be made to your exact requirements in hundreds of different finishes. These include timeless distressed brass and bronzes through to contemporary finishes of nickels and chromes. They can apply specialist paint finishes to many of our lights, Chinoiserie, aged and distressed, matt or gloss colours. Other services available are wiring and re-wiring, restoration, and purpose fitted bases in black or gilded finishes.
All of Besselink & Jones' shades are hand made using traditional techniques by their own dedicated shade makers. Different weights and colours of silk are mixed together in pleats, lining and edging to create their effects. Other textures like plain card, hand painted card, oiled or crackled parchment add to the multitude of choices available.
