VEREL DE BELVAL is revisiting a noble tradition.
Drawing on its rich archives and the skills inherited from four centuries of tradition, VEREL DE BELVAL is bringing the heritage of Lyon' silk industry vigorously into the present with an innovative outlook based on a creative approach to color and a constant search for new ways of treating materials.
The brand specializes in four main families of furnishing silks, playing on both past and future : damasks inspired by the archives or reinterpreted ; taffetas whose hundreds of different colors are constantly being enriched by new hues ; classic " lampas " enlivened by modern tones, prints, warp printing and shimmering jacquards. These form a rich symphony on the theme of silk, that timeless byword for beauty and gracious living.
VEREL DE BELVAL also offers the dedication, capacity and reactivity of an industrial structure at the cutting edge of technological progress. To bring professionnals the best possible service and a broad range of special products, in a spirit of genuine partnership, this is the unfailling commitment of VEREL DE BELVAL.
METAPHORES is a brand created in 1982 by Olivier Nourry who is the General Manager of Ceda.
METAPHORES is focused on very contemporary materials with many changing effects. It is also developing a wide fully flame retardant collection based on Trevira CS with bright and flaming colours.
LE CRIN (horse hair fabrics) is a company that was created at the beginning of the XIXth century near Le Mans (France). It is still weaving horse hair on almost hundred-year-old Jacquard looms and can be used on seats and as sheers. It is a very strong, soft and prestigious material that you can find in castles, palaces.
