The CRAYE family business was founded around the Year 1880 by a Belgian immigrant worker who came from Flanders to seek work in the rapidly growing textile town of Roubaix.
In 1914, Jean-Baptiste Craye and his two sons Pierre and Maurice started the construction of their factory on what is still the Craye Head Office.
