The world envisioned by Swiss designer Philippe Cramer presents itself as a playground for the imagination. The delicate irregularities inherent to each object reflect his dedication to preserving techniques of traditional craftsmanship. In his collections the space reserved for the use of traditional materials such as silver, porcelain and wood serves the same need: to reintroduce human touch to the heart of the creative process. Because they are immersed in emotion, his creations cannot simply be defined by their formal properties and even less so by their functionality.
